Mark began his career in Los Angeles where he wrote on various television series for NBC Productions, ABC, The CW, Fox, HGTV and Food Network. He was also part of the creative team that launched REELZ (Formerly Reelzchannel) now seen in over 65 million households. He is the author of “Hire Me, Hollywood!” published by Adams Media, a division of Simon and Schuster and is currently shopping his second book for publication. A documentary based on this book is currently in production.
In 2009, Mark co-founded Ironwill Kids, a nutrition education company, where he created an evidence-based program to combat the growing obesity epidemic. Developed in conjunction with health experts at Columbia University, this successful program was featured in a prominent peer-reviewed journal and is used in schools across the country. Additionally, Ironwill was one of 7 companies accepted into the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business ed-tech Incubator in 2014.
Mark has since used his writing, communication, social media, and marketing skills for other businesses, from digital startups to Fortune 500 companies like Delta Airlines and ABM. He’s also successfully crafted partnerships with non-profits like Boys and Girls Clubs of America, City Harvest, and Alliance for a Healthier Generation, among others.
Mark lives in New York City with his partner David and their pup, Buddy.

In 2013, Doug earned his Masters in Public Administration from Rutgers University and utilizes his education to create strategic, business and development plans for non-profits. He currently works with University of Virigina’s Contemplative Sciences Center, UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center, Dr. Redei at Northwestern University, and the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County.
Before transitioning to the non-profit sector, he worked for JPM Chase. During his tenure, he helped integrate businesses during three large bank mergers. In his role, he reported directly to the President of Chase Investment Services Corporation where he created a new strategy to turn around the business.
Early in his career Doug worked as an Account Executive at Wells Rich Greene BDDP (where he met Hilarie on her very first day of work there in 1992). His account experience there included: ITT Corporate, ITT Sheraton, Liberty Mutual, and NY State. He helped create advertising and marketing initiatives that increased brand recognition and sales. He worked with the media-buying representatives to buy ad time during the Super Bowls and The Olympics.
Doug graduated from the University of Richmond and completed The Executive Program at Darden Business School at the University of Virginia.
He lives with his wife Cynthia in NJ, and they have two children in college, is an avid tennis player and enjoys a good game of golf.
